These terms cover the use of Build It Simple, including its website, web app, mobile app and dispatch text messages. By using Build It Simple you agree to them.
The service
Build It Simple is job management software for construction companies - scheduling, dispatch, daily field reports, submittals, plans and job records. Accounts are created by a company for its own staff, and each company is responsible for the information it enters and for who it gives access to.
Dispatch text messages (SMS program)
- Program: Build It Simple Dispatch. Companies use it to text their own field employees their work assignments - the job, address, start time and any special conditions.
- Who receives messages: only employees whose mobile number was provided to their employer for work scheduling. Employees agree to receive dispatch texts when they provide their mobile number to their employer for that purpose.
- Message frequency varies with work scheduling - typically up to one message per work day.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You'll receive one confirmation message and no further texts. To start again, reply START.
- Help: reply HELP, or contact us through the form on our website.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Mobile numbers are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Accounts
Keep your password private and let your company know if you think someone else has used your account. Companies can add, change or remove their users' access at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Build It Simple to break the law, to send messages to people who haven't agreed to receive them, to upload anything you don't have the right to share, or to try to get into information that isn't yours.
Your information
Information a company enters stays that company's. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability
We work to keep Build It Simple running and your information safe, but the service is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Build It Simple is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including missed or delayed text messages.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
